With a global Alexa rank of [update] 637, Namu.wiki is the single most popular site currently built on a new top level domain name.

A wiki is defined as ‘a website that allows collaborative editing of its content and structure by its users’.  Namu is Korean for ‘tree’ so this is South Korea’s version of tree wiki and apparently the site has tons of great collaborative content available. Launched into general availability in April of 2014, the .wiki TLD is one of three launched by TopLevelDesign and currently has around 18.5k domain registrations.

Interesting to note that the domain name tree.wiki remains unregistered.  The registry did hold that one back as a premium domain name.  .Wiki domains are available to register for around $35/year depending on where you look.
